1) May experience lead to greater communion with truth and power of description, and to more good and edifying things to tell
Hello, my friends and my gender-neutral enemies! We see some older people using their age or experience as a credential against the intelligence, not as a sign of knowledge of the truth (or even of professional expertise). Age or experience only make sense as respectability when each year makes this person more intelligent and knowledgeable, which implies a better and wiser person, with a greater capacity to be and make other persons happier.
There was a time when sharing certain informations, reading certain books, or having certain ideas carried a risk to one's life. Today, the voices of the elderly, academics, writers, and journalists are almost a guarantee of intellectual and moral malnutrition, or even of a lack of information about local news; all this despite the near universalization of both basic education and mass media, including in Brazil. Even with a considerable percentage of people under 40 years old holding a university degree, human language is more unknown in Brazil. Omission, distortion, or simply stupid chatter about real issues in journalism is just one visible expression of this. Increasingly common horrendous spelling or typographical errors are another. But another manifestation (even in a demonic or similar sense) of inability to use human language in Brazil is any internal contradiction in a video, interview, text, book, or sequence of Facebook posts by someone who should be among the select group of the most intelligent and technically qualified people in the country. If this person is left-wing or center-left (they usually are), there is no question of disagreement over ideas or sociopolitical ideology here, because the person lacks the mental integrity or linguistic capacity to agree with oneself. But this manifestation (even in a demonic or similar sense) of inability to use human language is only noticeable to fully literate people, for whom the elements of language should tend to point to reality, and who therefore know that the set of elements of a contradiction cannot correspond to some object in the reality.
For people with a human mindset and a healthy brain, it's normal to accumulate skills, understandings, and knowledge of truths. It's normal you to perceive connections and logical inferences between things you already knew. And the association of this intellectual and cultural growth with a skill in human language produces an increase in the power of description, which is not only good verbal expression, but the ability to express elements of reality in words. And the power of description is also the ability to create new words, new expressions, or new names if there are no adequate popularized terms.
And I also remind you that each emotion has a certain meaning and can have a certain organic or situational utility, but emotions do not exclude intelligence. To consider emotions as a universe with a meaning in itself is animalistic and psychotic illiteracy. But this is the most common thing in everyday life in Brazil: hearing talks that are an oral excretion of feelings and sensations. I did not commit any rudeness, I said "excretion" in the sense of something that comes out from the inside of the body to the external environment. And still in sequence, it's also common in Brazil to hear people complaining about their jobs, where they do what they hate and earn little. You will never, or hardly, see anyone in Brazil happily talk about his or her labor day. Oops! Maybe about May 1st which is coming up, but not if it's a Saturday or Sunday. It was also to describe this that I right before used the term "animalistic", referring to something, a life, with a loss of human dimension, reduced to a small-minded survival, and I'm not referring to severe poverty. Also because many people with good salaries in university degree jobs also use to complain about their work.
Emotional waves don't need to be recorded in writing, hysterical lies for collective manipulation don't need to be recorded in writing too, stupidity and illiteracy don't need to be recorded in writing too; the search for truth does. Living in connection with reality and greatness can be uncomfortable among small-minded people, but for people who don't give up their humanity, it's always better than living like "them".
2) Texts about Men's Day
July 15th is Men's Day in Brazil, and November 19th is International Men's Day. International Women's Day was created as a Soviet holiday and was incorporated into our culture as a lesbian praise. Men's Day was created to remind men to take care of their health, but since there is International Women's Day and Mother's Day, which is another lesbian-feminist day, let's consider the issue of gender oppression differently than what you're used to seeing and hearing, especially if you're a new reader.
